Lockin Goat is a free focus timer. This page explains what data the site uses and why.
What stays on your device
Your streak, your focus history for the last 90 days and your settings (such as sound on or off) are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device, we can't see them, and clearing your browser data deletes them. The shareable card is generated in your browser and is not uploaded anywhere.
Notifications and offline use
If you turn on notifications, your browser asks for permission and shows alerts locally when a session ends. We do not send push messages and do not store any notification data. To make the site work offline, your browser keeps a copy of the site's own files on your device; it contains none of your personal data.
What we collect
We do not ask for accounts, names or email addresses. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and basic traffic statistics.
Cookies and advertising
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at google.com/settings/ads or aboutads.info. Where required, such as in the EEA and UK, ads and cookies are shown only with your consent.
Third-party services
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when the page loads. Google's own privacy policy applies to that service and to AdSense.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated.
